APP has  a function in nervesynapse. Celladhesion, regulation of synaptic function and axonal transport.  APP anterograde transport  is  very high velocity movement. Kinesin cargo receptor  of  APP transport vesicles cotrqnsporting alfa-secretase.
APP in  synapse cleft  forms lateral dimners and adhesive dimers.
